Nightjar

I will shortly be announcing details of a forthcoming publication on my  ‘News and Publications’ page. This is something rather special, and I am really rather excited about it. A story of mine is being published by Nightjar Press, a small press run by the author Nicholas Royle, specialising in single story, limited edition chapbooks.

See also my 9 February post ‘Nightjar Press – Treasuring the short story’ and an interview with Annexe Magazine.

Nightjar stories are dark and unsettling,  edgy and unexpected. Each book is designed by John Oakey, and features individual artwork or photography on the cover. John has re-vamped the cover layouts for the next release, which will be mine and Conrad Williams’. I  will blog details when they are finalised. I am delighted with my cover, but will keep details under wraps until I am given the go-ahead by Nick.

The Nightjars  will be launched at an event as part of the Didsbury Arts Festival on 27th June.  It promises to be a great evening!
